Conflict between SB and Mahabharata.

I do not read mahavarata but I have face some questions from a person that

1) In mahabharata Sukhdev Goswami died before Judhisthira.

2) He also claim that in Mahabharata Parikshit maharaj and did not go to Naymisharnaya before his death to hear Sreemad Bhagwatam.

Please clarify these confusions. They give the reference of Mahabharata's adi parba I just cant remember the verse no. can you help me with proper reference?

  • It seems to me,
The Light of the Bhagavatom is
    Mainly about Vishnu.
As the even-more STAR STUDIED , eventful -
Maha'Barretta, & contains the BhagaVat Gita, should be the Go to book. Ethics
as mortality the *mistasisum & impermeable fruits born out of the austaraties performed in earnest at great coust of time & jestuers.
    Krishna's Pastimes are
    Those of MAHABHARATA
    VISHNU & the pastimes of
    Vishnu's creation?
    I'm greatful to GuRuRam but
*the Maha'Barretta and the pastimes of KING
    Domendarrah
    ARE so amorous
To hear or read of such
Intergraty Vallor & such a ferm grip on both reality & the perports of personal evolutions. To hear it is to have One's Heairs all* standOnEad*
  • Hare Krishna,
Dear Radha Rasamayi Mataji and Zola Preetam Pravuji you are right when I should argue with a Devotee but in case of non devotee this will not satisfy him. He need proper reference and there must be a copy of Mahabharata unchanged. Though the SB and Mahabharata had written by same author so there must be same description of same instance isn't it?

Before you convince non devotee, you have to be convinced na. What is the need to convince non devotees when devotees themselves are having these doubts.

My guess is that whatever you say, they will not get convinced. Better to say one sentence - Mahabharata has been changed over the years. There is an authentic version - now available in ISKCON temples. Please read that - all contradictions will disappear. WHenever in doubt, follow Gita and Srimad Bhagawatam.

Incidentally, I am hearing for the first time the 2 points mentioned by you.

      Haribol.

    Hare KRsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

PLease follow Srimad Bhagawatam. No need to get into Mahabharata. Srimad Bhagawatam available to us is still authentic, there have been changes in Mahabharata over the ages.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD
