Hare Krishna,

I am unqualified to ask this question as it is to be understood in much advanced stage which i think i will not be able to reach in this lifetime. Still i will be grateful if i get any positive answer to this.

Why it is said that info related to Radha and Krishna is confidential in Sastras ? Where is it mentioned in sastras about this ?

There are many pastimes of Krishna and Radha Krishna together which are not in Srimad Bhagwatam. Where are they found in sastra?

I am not going to read them.it is just for knowledge just to make sure it is in sastras and not just man made. I heard some people made alligations about its authenticity .

Confidential because it has no access to mundane people. Ife even mundane people who have envy and lust in their heart read Radha-Krishna pastimes they will intrepret it as ordinary loving affairs between a young girl and boy that is why we see there are many obscene images depicting affair of Radh-Krishna in various parts of India as it is taken as mundane sex affair. To Know Radha Krishna we need to know the tattva or philosophical substance behind it, but most of the people jump into pastimes without having sufficient knowledge in philosophy about the relation and without having essential purification of heart.

Now from scriptural point of view , it is not that Srimati Radharani is not mentioned in mainstream scriptures like Bhagavad Gita or Bhagavatam , it is mentioned there but in passive way. Actually the name Radha came from the word "Aradhana" . [ Just like Srimati Radharani is always engaged in the service of the Lord, anaradhyate. Aradhyate, it is Radharani. The Radharani, the name has come from the word aradhyate. Aradhana, aradhana means worshiping. ~Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.6.1,Bombay, December 17, 1975 ] . Radharani is mentioned in Bhagavatm as Aradhana.

Apart from that the whole 10 canto chapter 30 "The Gopīs Search for Kṛṣṇa" talks about Radharani Only

SB 10.30.28: Certainly this particular gopī has perfectly worshiped the all-powerful Personality of Godhead, Govinda, since He was so pleased with Her that He abandoned the rest of us and brought Her to a secluded place.

BG 9.13 mahatmanas tu mam partha daivim prakritim asritah ~O son of Pritha, those who are not deluded, the great souls, are under the protection of the divine nature.

So here Acharya explains the divine nature is Srimati Radharani.

Now the question is Why Sukadeva Goswami didn't directly take Srimati Radharani's name directly in Bhagavatam.

Acharya explains that Radharani's pet parrot was Sukadeva Goswami, so whenver Suka takes Radharani's name He goes into trance, so as Bhagavtam recitation had to be finished within 7 days, if Suka took Radharani's name he would have went into trance and Bhagavtam would never be recited and available today so therefore He hidden the name of Radharani within Aradhana.

Regarding mentioning of Radharani and Krishna's pastimes apart from mainstream scriptures there are ample amount of pastimes in authentic puranas like brahmavaivarta purana, Uttara and Patala Khanda of padma purana, devi bhagavata purana, Narada Puran and sevaral tantra sastra.

So in nutshell Radha-Krishna pastimes is confidential because very limited people has access to it and understand it in proper perspective. Most people intrepret and understand it in mundane way. Only a bonafide Acharya can open the door of this confidential part of scriptures.

See we introduced to algebra when we learned the basic mathemetics well, it is not that all can do Algebra, similarly not all things are for general public, There is some qualification needed to access higher region in scriptures also.

Lord Chaitanya did not write any literature except 8 verses of Shikshashtakam. But He empowered Him Devotees like Rupa, Sanatana Goswami, Narottam, Shyamananda, Shrinivas Acharyas, Jiva Gpswami, Jayadev Goswami, Bhaktivinod Thakur ... and many more such like Devotees to write about Radha and Krishna.

We can find Radha Krishna pastimes in the 10th Canto Bhagavatam.

But other confidential stories are in the books of the above Acharyas. Like Hamsaduta, Ujvala Nilamani, Padyavali...

in order to read these books and achieve success our heart should be ready for that. Otherwise we will cultivate lust rather than pure love.
