Mataji, Curry leaves and Coriander leaves are not used as a leafy vegetable but its only used as a garnish. That is why some devotees say it can be used. However, some even restrain from that as well. The reason being that the leafy veg easily spoils during rainy season and there are chances of lot of insects also in them during this period.

Karri leaves and coriander is okay, not forbidden.
I heard even mint leaves are not forbidden, someone should throw some light on this.
