Q. WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF CHANTING 16 ROUNDS OF THE HARE KRISHNA MANTRA ?
my humble obeisances!
these days my timetable is so busy that many of my rounds i have to do on the way. I am so sad for that. But i beg forgiveness from the Holy Names by trying to chant them always. After chanting on Japa taking to my hand counter and continue it on mind. But it is very difficult but we have to do our best.
The main thing is to hear the Names. So while sitting in the bus or train it is better to chant and hear the sound rather than talking other things or just glancing over the window and listen to mind.

I attended a class in "Holy Name Retreat" and there one senior devotee told, it is not recommended to chant while travelling because we can not concentrate on chanting while travelling.
