Chanting Pancha-Tattva and Mahamantra

Hare Krishna to all!

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

At the beginning of japa Hare Krishna Maha Mantra I chant  Pancha-Tattva one time. Then before every round I chant Pancha-Tattva i.e., one round Pancha-Tattva then one round Hare Krishna Maha Mantra. This way I finish  16 rounds of japa in different times of the day. For example in the morning, in the car, break time in my office and at night. I try to complete 16 rounds in different times of the day based on my daily routine works.

I follow this style of chanting because I read this instruction on www.harekrishnajapa.com website. In the section named 'How to chant on beads' says, "Before we start to chant the Hare Krishna Mantra 108 times on the beads we should chant the Pancha Tattva mantra once before each round." (source: http://harekrishnajapa.com/how-to-chant-on-beads/)

I was reading some discussions on this website (iskcondesiretree.net) and learnt that I should chat 3 rounds of Pancha-Tattva only at the beginning of Hare Krishna Maha Mantra japa. Now I think that I have been committing  the same mistake/sin repeatedly. In this regard, my question is:

-  Should I chant Pancha-Tattva 3 times on each occasion of starting Maha Mantra japa?

I would greatly appreciate your valuable advice and time to clarify my confusion.

Please accept my dandvat pranam!

Your servant,

Amal

Hare Krishna Amal Prabhu, my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

To chant once Pancha Tattva Mantra is fine before every round. If You wish You can chant even three.

It says that directly we cannot reach Radha Krishna - Hare Krishna. And while chanting that Mantra we commit so many offenses. But if we take shelter of Their Lordships Goura Nitay They will remove offenses and send pure prayers to Sri Sri Radha Krishna.

In the beginning of all rounds I chant prayers to

    Tulasi Maharani,

    to Vaishnavas,

    to my Diksha Guru,

    to Srila Prabhupada

then three times repeat Harer Nama eva kevalam

then chant the prayers which really helps me to enter into pray-full mood

then chant Pancha Tattva Mantra then start Hare Krishna.
