The immediate symptom of a Kṛṣṇa conscious man is that he speaks only of Kṛṣṇa and of matters relating to Him.He will be very inquisitive to research on the subject matter related to Krishna and philosophy. The person starts loosing attraction to movie, games, newspaper, karmi songs, meat-eating and opposite sex etc. The desire for material enjoyment become less and less. He become silent to discussion which are not related to Krishna and philosophy. He then try to preach the philosophy whomever he knows and think suitable. He stops associating with old friends. He starts taking pleasure in chanting more and more. Then he thrive for association of devotees more and more, and also want to do some service voluntarily. This are some of the initial symptoms, there are many for that we have to corroborate our feelings with the statement of scriptures like Bhagavd Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. Bhagavtam and Gita states a lot about this .
