Hare Krishna!
I want to ask a question. Is there any scriptural proof that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is an incarnation of Lord Krishna?.....His name is not mentioned in Shrimad Bhagwattam. If there is no scriptural proof, then why do we say that is he an incarnation of lord Krishna?

Some people said that the verses in Garuda Purana were no where to be found.

Hare krsna. Please never think that the verses are loosely translated. It depends on the people whom you are saying did actually refer the original garuda purana or any other shastra very scrutinizingly or not, under the guidance of an expert guru. I had noticed many people who simply say that there is no evidence in shastra without even referring the purana or shastras. We must be grateful to the devotees who had actually done a thorough research and exposed the correct verses about lord gauranga mahaprabhu who is krsna himself. It is a painstaking effort. Many people have a worst habit and they talk more and work less. They even donot have the ability to understand a single sanskrit verse , but still say that they had done much research. people who do actual and genuine research are always broad minded and they talk less and work more and very positive indeed. Please i beg you to humbly understand this genuine fact.

I have personally looked at the Garuda purana and Matsya purana present on the internet. You can access them here. Please let me know if the Purana here is missing verses or if they are lost over time.
I do not know much and I am still learning, but this seemed like a very major doubt that I thought I should clear at any cost.

Thank you for your response. I have seen these verses, but my only concern is that they have no reference as to where I can find them in the scripture.
I have no problems in accepting the verses from the Bhagavadam as there is a reference and a word to word translation. But for the others, like sama veda, athatva veda, mahabharata, I was not able to find.
Please enlighten me as to where I can find these verses in the respective scriptures.

Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is non different from Krishna and the understanding is based on the scriptural evidence.

Hare Krishna Pr ji,
Could you please tell me the verse numbers so that people can verify the quotes? From my reading, I could not find some of the scriptures and some of the quotes.
Also, I find that some of the verses are loosely translated.
Please do not consider this to be blasphemous in any way. I am just trying to understand the quality of evidence presented.
