  • this is a very interesting question;

    the object which is given and which is considered sacred and proper being touched by dirty hands;

    other questions to this effect, is should women who are menstruating offer oblations or sacrifices while they are menstruating, but after a shower?

    typically the answer for these questions is no.

    these things are not proper.

    even bath is not terminal or definitive.

    sometimes I've had to take 1 bath, then after thinking something improper, I've taken a second bath.

    another thing that people don't necessarily do is wash their mouth and rinse to have normal fresh breath.

    sometimes one has to pay particular attention to one's face. this has been my spiritual experience; which may be adaptations more based on my particular needs than the ritualistic procession itself.

    people should know how they feel and what is an appropriate feeling and so considering offer things while they are at their best.

    sleep hygiene is also important, offering to God while half asleep or sleepy but doing it so because it is 5pm and thats the time for the puja isn't a very good puja, the mind tends to sway and think of physical comfort like rest if thats what the body also requires.

    same may apply for intonation. one should have proper intonation, not scream, and be loud or reckless in one's chant. all these characteristics we have to one extent or another.

    then I ask u prabhu, what about those homeless individuals who want to perform puja and offer flowers ? what if they have no means to such comfort or access; the lord was very friendly with sudama.

    so; not to say he was homeless, but i don't think shri krishna cares, after all, the purity of your heart and the action there in is the only thing that is worth anything; the action itself is meaningless in of itself.

    1000 ways to see things prabhu, how many do you think the thousand eyed lord vishnu sees things?

  • yes..Bhuwan prabhu

  • If u wear a good dress then do u want to go in dirty place with that new and good dress ?? Hope ur answer will be no.. Like that if u take bath then ur mind like to absorb in krishna consciousness means in purity,, That's why Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu suggested us to take bath 3 time in a day.. Hopefully u understand.. Hare krishna :)

    • Absolutely correct mataji.  Bathing is very much important in Krishna Consiouness.  If we bath in the braham murat which is called the time of satogun,  it means all positive energy,  so it (taking bath) will make us pious from outside and inside of our body,  which will effect on our smooth chanting.

  • actually we have to do worship of lord krishna in purify mind and soul.. but our mind is become dirty by the influence of kali yuga.. so if we will be physically fresh.. then our mind will be also purify .. hare krishna

    • Hare Krishna..

      Nice reply mataji but I couldn't understand how our mind gets purified by taking bath. Am I missing something here?

  • The Answer is no. We are still in the Neophyte Stage of Bhakti.One in the transcendental stage can still do it.But this is a very very advanced stage when the servitor has awakened his relationship with the Lord and the Lord Himself permits the devotee. In our stage ; we need millions of years to reach that stage.
