We glorify Radha, before we take the Name of Krishna.
Chanting Radha Krishna is also fine, as long as you include Krishna when you take the Name of Shrimati Radha Rani.
It is not against teachings of Prabhupada, if you do this.
There is always fear that we take the dealings of Radha and Krishna as material activity.
Prabhupada said that on Janmastami "we had to fast all day until midnight because Krishna is very strong and hard. But on Radhastami we would only have to fast until noon because Radharani is soft and kind"
So, I understand your desire to chant Radha Rani's Name.
It is perfectly fine, as long as you understand, She is the Internal Pleasure Potency of Krishna. Radha and Krishna are not different. They are One.
Prabhupada said, one can even chant Om Namah Shivaya, (as long as one believes, Shiva is part of Krishna and not different from and separate from Krishna), what to speak of Chanting the Names of Shrimati Radha Rani and Krishna's names.
It is from another Sampradaya, Kumara Sampradaya and is perfectly bonafied and legit.
If you practice 16 rounds of Mahamantra, you are already connected to Prabhupada.
“Instead of offering obeisances to Krishna, devotees offer obeisances to His compassionate nature. Actually , because Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, it is very difficult to approach Him. But the devotees, taking advantage of His compassionate nature, which is represented by Radharani, always pray to Radharani for Krishna’s compassion.” (Nectar Of Devotion pg. 176)

Radharani is very precious and therefore Her name is not taken freely. Only on Radha ashtami, we say Jai Jai Sri Raaadhe everywhere in ISKCON. Otherwise we say this glorification only in Vrindavan.
I would follow this mataji. Regarding chanting Radhe Krsna mantra, like you know, it is another sampradaya. Mahamantra is also very sweet mataji. Mother Hara is very merciful.

But one can take radha rani's name in her heart ! Because in Gaudiya! She is isht devi of this sampradaya! On there mouths there is always name of krishna but in there heart and mind there is only radha rani !
