My relatives will be visiting Puri very recently, so I am thinking to ask to them for getting me a deity of Lord Jagganath for me. But My doubt is since the Lord mercifully took His form in wood can we bathe Him in water, milk etc. Because I have seen in the temples doing it.

    Hare KRsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

For Jagananth deities, They are happy in wood. Wooden deities are not bathed everyday, even in temples. They are bathed once a year, during snana yatra, Then they are sick for 15 days, (when all the repainting is done), then They give darshan again, next day is Ratha Yatra.

This is how I have seen everywhere prabhuji.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD
