Actually, Srilla Prabhupada gave a nice example: if you keep on adding 000000.....,it does not have any value. However,if you put 1 in front of the zero,it will have 10 time values for each time you put any zeros. Similarly, what ever you do or desire,if you keep Krishna as center, your all efforts will have multiplied results.

You said, you believe in Krishna. This believe or faith comes from the knowledge about the Lord Krishna. So,how to make your believe strong? That is only possible if you keep chanting His Holy names (Mahamantra) and reading Srilla Prabhupada's transcedental books at least one page or a paragraph per day without fail.

Again, you mentioned you don't have time. This is a statement usually found in Lazy man's dictionary. A true intelligent person knows how to utilize his/her time perfectly. What ever time is spent for Krishna's service is have something meaningful in Death Personified Yamaraj's diary or else time spent in others activity does not have any meaning.

    "srama eve hi kevalam"

Only it is useless labor with no fruits.

    Again as stated in B.G,

    BG 4.11, Purport

For those who are fruitive workers, the Lord awards the desired  of their prescribed duties, as the yajñeśvara; and those who are yogīs seeking mystic powers are awarded such powers. In other words, everyone is dependent for success upon His mercy alone, and all kinds of spiritual processes are but different degrees of success on the same path. Unless, therefore, one comes to the highest perfection of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, all attempts remain imperfect, as is stated in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (2.3.10):

    akāmaḥ sarva-kāmo vā
    mokṣa-kāma udāra-dhīḥ
    tīvreṇa bhakti-yogena
    yajeta puruṣaṁ param

"Whether one is without desire (the condition of the devotees), or is desirous of all fruitive results, or is after , one should with all efforts try to worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead for complete perfection, culminating in Kṛṣṇa consciousness."

So, keep Krishna as center by chanting and reading and with proper personal time management, try seriously to get into Medical field.Certainly Yogeswar Krishna will bestow His causeless mercy.Keep faith.

    Thank you,

    Hare Krishna!

    Hare Krsna Mataji,

    PAMHO.

Very good that you want to become a doctor. You can become a doctor and join any of our Bhaktivedanta Hospitals. That way sadhana will remain intact in future also.

For that, one has to start practicing from now. We always have time for what is important to us. You watch TV, party with friends, chit chat with them - you examine your day and see where you can find time. If this is important to you, you will find the time.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD

  • "I do not get time for chanting."

    There must be at least six seconds in your day you have which are free. 6 seconds, that's all it takes to chant 1 mantra;

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

If you have only 6 seconds of free time in your day, but you devote it to Krishna, you are devoting all of your free time to Krishna!

Prabhu, remember Krishna throughout your day and be happy by remembering Him, and chant when you can. Chant in your head or whispering if that's all you can do. In this way you will worship Krishna and be happier, and gradually, naturally, devotional service is bound to increase.
