HARE KRISHNA, BODY'S POSTURE MATTERS

WHILE DOING POOJA TODAY'S MORNING I SUDDENLY REALIZED THAT I HAVE TOTALLY ENGAGED MY HANDS IN CLAPPING AND THE WHOLE BODY WAS MAKING TO AND FRO MOTION....SO CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY DO WE CLAP WHILE OFFERING PRAY TO LORD KRISHNA AND WHY DO WE MAKE TILAK ON OUR FOREHEAD.

  • Hare Krishna...Pranam..... Srila Prabhupada has given a very nice explanation on this...As you to a tree full of birds and clap your hands? What will happen? All the birds will fly away.Similarly, as we clap our hands while singing or engaging in Krishna bhajan, all the sins in our heart will fly away...

    And we we are applying tilak on our forehead because we are the servants of Lord Krishna. The upper part of our tilak shows the lotus feet of Lord Krishna and the lower portion indicates Tulasi devi....
