Dear devotees,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to the Vaishnavas!
I found a Bhagavad Gita opera by Vanraj Bhatia on youtube which sings the sanskrit verses (selected verses) from the Gita. I heard in a Prabhupada lecture ( unfortunately I don't know where) that we, devotees should not listen to any thing that non-devotees say.
Even if they talk about Krsna. Keeping this in mind is it approvable to listen to the above? Vanraj Bhatia has no records of devotional life that I could find, however he is from India. Ofcourse that doesn't mean that he is a devotee.
He technically produced the background music i don't know who said the slokas in the recording.
Because the Gita was spoken by Krsna and because nothing is being added to it should it not be okay?
Then again by listening to people with non-devotional attitude it will lead to the development of that same attitude .. no?
And since we are here : do devotees listen to meditational music? Like the ones sold on krishna.com??
Any ideas??

Krishna.com is our web site dear Mataji, 'our' meaning - ISKCON. So we can trust.
Your servant,
Thank you dear mataji,
All glories to the Vaishnavas!
I am after answering that question to myself also. Since all the music on krishna.com are made by devotees in the mood of devotion , if one listens to it then they will also be in that mood plus whether instrumental, meditation, hip hop etc they are all talking about Krsna so one cannot at all forget Krsna. Because of this they lead to Krsna and not away ;D
