hare krishna... dandvat pranam...what is the authority of vedas.?why we should be somuch dependent on our scriptures...?Are they present as they were created without any changes today?my friends tell that they r created by some rishi to maintain normal human society...and now it is not needed?i have full faith on vedas but i cant explain it to them....hare krsna.....!

And what is the ultimate goal of studying Vedic literature? That is explained in the Bhagavad-gita, vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyam: to understand Krsna. So therefore our movement is known as Krsna consciousness movement.
