I have heard in lectures that Karma starts at the age of 7 years old, that is why children could be allowed in Altar who is under 7 years old. But Someone is asking me where it is written and i can't find it, could anyone please help if you know? Hare Krishna

Hare Krishna dear Devotees, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
It is true karma starts and already started when we came out from the pores of Lord Maha Vishnu.
We are here in this material world only because of this karma.
Action and reaction.
But it says that child till his 13th age won't get reactions of his present time actions but parents will get. But child is always getting the reactions of karma of his previous lives. But after 13 he will start to get reactions of his present life actions also.
Also it says that after 36 karma fully manifests itself.

The karma gets started when the soul enters the Material world,by misusing his free will.So,it is not important whether in this life when we start doing our karma.Our only goal should be how to get out of it.When we chant harekrishna all our past misdeeds will become zero.we can attain Krishnaby this process. prabhupada always told don't bothered about how you came here,but be determined to get out of it.
