Hare Krsna Prabhu. It is said in the Sri Isopanishad-- Those who are engaged in the worship of demigods enter into the darkest region of ignorance, and still more so do the worshippers of the impersonal Absolute.

Hare Krishna Sagar Thakkar Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
There are to kinds of people: Asuras and Suras. Demons and Devas.
    Definition of a Demon/asura:
one who serves to his own senses
    Definition of a Deva:
one who serves to the senses of Vishnu.
    -----------
Demigods can not give us love for Godhead. They can give us only material things. If we worship them then we will get material things from them: education, good wife, health, wealth...which we use only for our sense enjoyment.
And if person even wants to serve them not waiting for something in return(so what is the use of this service :-( ), their duty is to give back something. As like it happened with Kunti Mata.
    ------------
But a Deva style people are not businessmen: "You give me, i will give to you". No! They worship Govinda and they want to make Him happy, they do not want anything in return. They are ready to burn in the hell but to have opportunity to chant and to glorify their Beloved Govinda.
But Govinda is also a Personality. He also has feelings, qualities, desires... in this way He also loves to serve to His Devotees. This type of business looks like the next: please accept my service!
other side: no, no please You accept my service!
this side: i will serve, i want to make You happy...
other side: no, no, i want You make happy, let me serve to You :-)
So lets serve to Devotees and Krishna without waiting anything in return! In the reality it is the secret elixir of ananda - bliss.
    Your servant,
