    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

Whatever activity we do, we can put it through a test to determine whether it is right to do it or not - is it pleasing to Krsna? For example - if we are playing say Solitary on a computer - chances are that (most likely) we are bored and therefore playing that game. Would it not be better to read something related to Krsna instead? The same is for all video games - how does it take us closer to Krsna by playing a virtual game?

Now we come to table games like Table Tennis. That involves some exercise - it helps in keeping the body fit and also provides recreation (though advanced devotees are not interested in recreation). Would it not be better to play that game?

The point is - these games are addictive and we aspiring devotees avoid all kinds of addiction.

The bottomline is - everything depends on your consciousness level - if you are having the tendency to enjoy, then you will play these games. If you have the tendency to serve Krsna, you will not find time to play these games. You will too much immersed in service and taht will give you all the rasas (taste) that any game can give.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Rashmi

I am agree with the comment of JayaKrishna Prabhuji but if we are playing game which is include money weather it indoor our outdoor that it is call gamble.  Now a days android mobile is been used by everyone, it includes devotees also.  There are some mobile games like, candy crush, Temple run etc etc...,one should avoid even these games also. But sometime i also play temple run but i play Lord Shri Krishna game also!!!!!

  • Prabhuji pranaam,

I don't think playing computer games is gambling. I myself play computer games every weekend. Devotion is at one place and games is in another place.

In computer games, everything is virtual. Nothing which is shown actually exists. It is just a simulation. That's it.
  • They may be taken as gambling, it's not necessary that gambling involves money, as time is more precious.every seconds of a devotee is to engage in devotional service.however, we may engage in Krishna conscious games, what can't be treated as gambling.Hari bol!
  • Hare Krsna Prabhu,

If there us no money involved it is not gambling, but it is most definitely intoxication. So are watching movies, TV etc.

    HariBol!!
