Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (who is said to be Krishna himself) had descended to earth around 500 years ago.
My question is if that is predicted somewhere in our scriptures like Bhagavatam already (directly or indirectly).

Yes, it has been predicted in so many scriptures. In Srimad Bhagavatam 11.5.32 it is said "In the age of Kali, intelligent persons perform congregational chanting to worship the incarnation of Godhead who constantly sings the holy name of Krishna. Although His complexion is not blackish, He is Krishna Himself. He is accompanied by His associates, servants, weapons and confidential companions."
From the above it is clear that this particular incarnation always chants holy name of the Lord and His complexion is NOT blackish (in other words He is fair). Then who is this person? This person's characteristics matches with that with Mahaprabhu in all ways.
