Anukalpa Prasadan means?
anukalpa prasadam means which doesn't contain grains or cereals. its like ekadasi prasdam.
usually these days we should not enjoy our senses but Krishna's. Grains usually give peace to senses and e enjoy eating them because of that it is recommended not to eat grains on those days.
It is a sacrifice.
Your servant,
Hare Krsna Mataji,
Thanks for your reply in understanding the anukalpa prasadam or non grain prasadam on main festivals. Technically what you have mentioned is o.k. however is there any reference from sasthra or acaryas or guru?
i heard it in the lectures many times Prabhuji.
For example in one older lectures of His Holiness Bhakti Vigyana Goswami Maharaja.
You can also find some info in communities here called 'become a brahmachari'.
