In Dwapara Yuga, once Brahma made all the holy cows along with the cow-boys of little Krisna disappeared by dint og his Maya.Then Lord Krisna, within a moment, made those cows and cow-boys reappeared by dint of his Yoga Maya.Brahma, observing the total defeat of his Maya, realised his serious offence to Lord Krisna.
Asking forgiveness of Lord Krisna, Brahma penanced at this Antar Dwip for a long days. At last Lord Krisna, being very satisfied to him, offered a boon to be companion of Lord Chainya Mohaprobhu as 'Jaban Horidas' in Koli Yuga.
In the Antar Dwip, there is Isodyan,Joga Pith( birth place of Mohaprobhu which is also called Avinyo Gokul Mohabon),Sribas Angan(where Mohaprobhu performed Nama Sangkirtana) Sri chainya Moth,the house of Adyaita acharya, the house of Godhadhor, the house of Chand Kaji(which is ovinyo Mothura) Talbon, Prithukunda etc.
Mayapur is situated just at the middle point of Antar Dwip.
