    It is ok to be addicted if you are using your addiction in Krishna's service.

                               addiction with computer  ( addiction means materiality)  is not ok for krishna conscious , we should use computer for service to devotees and krishna only. computer or internet is only a communication to reach up supreme knowledge.

                                if we addicted with compute or we feel this is harmful for our conscious we should leave it for our pure krishna conscious.

        BUT THE TENDENCY IS TO FOCUS MORE ON  COMPUTER THAN OUR DAY TO DAY SADHANA

        IN THIS WAY WE NE_LECT  OUR DAILY  PRACTICE  DAY TO DAY SADHANA

          I am guilty of this as well. I neglect performing Harinama Sankirtana everyday.

          Unfortunately I need to use computer for work.

          I remember when I used to do Sankirtana regularly in downtown Sacramento at 5pm, about 40 minutes away from my home.

          I would still be lazy to get up from the computer and exactly at 4:35, the Lord would

          simply shut the door to the small temple I have right above the computer.

          Happened to me atleast 3 times. Lord is asking all of us to perform Sankirtana.

          I am so lazy, and have very little desire to serve the Lord.

          Having a non-devotee wife doesn't help either.

          Any blessing from devotees who whole-heartedly serve Krishna will be wonderful.

    Use it in Krishna's service and it will no longer be just a laptop

    It will be spiritualized.

    I have a feeling, you are already doing that.

    Jai Shri Krishna..

     

    I hope most of your time is spent reading and increasing your knowledge on Krishna via your computer.  Most of my knowledge on Krishna was attained via the use of computer.  My thoughts on Krishna is 24/7 I use computer to delve more knowledge on Krishna. As you use your computer more and more to get to know Krishna.. you'll lose your attachment to other things which might take your time away from studying Krishna.  There is a lot to learn from the internet,  but make sure you have a Guru or some Vaishnava who can guide you through the knowledge you uncover.
