answer: he is svarat means fully independant also causeless he can do anyhting************** there is no reason.may be he likes to wear. there might be scriptural reference but i don't know
why we offer diya at the time of damodar ashtaka?

do we offer it daily?after the end of damodar month?
answer: Yes twice in day morning and evening duirng karthink , we can offer daily also if we desire so there is no limit to devotional service.
