sorry but on meru mani we can't chant any mantra.
we should reverse the bead for next round. on the next pearl of the meru mani we should chant guru and prabhupad pranam mantra and also chant Jai Sri Krishna Caitanya Prabhu Nityananda Sri Advaita Gadadhara Srivasadi Goura Bhakta Vrinda. but not on meru mani.
Hare Krishna! The 108 beads symbolizes the 108 Gopies in Vrindavan. The big pearl in the middle or the 109 pearl Symbolizes Krishna. On the big pearl we should chant: Jai Sri Krishna Caitanya Prabhu Nityananda Sri Advaita Gadadhara Srivasadi Goura Bhakta Vrinda. That to apologice for the offences we made during the chanting of Hare Krishna Maha Mantra.
