A person ... who lives in association of devotees but do not chant .....and a person who due to material implications ...cannot live with devotees but chant religiously............so which is better.

please give a firm answer of two choices...........(before putting confusing scriptural philosophy)...kindly just tell which is better .of two ............first ............after that put any support from philosophy

    Hare Krishna Deepak Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

    In spiritual path each person should take care of his own-self as like there was incident when Pandavas and Draupadi was going to the North Draupadi used to take care of herself.

    So person who understood it will start to do personal Japa, personal service to Krishna.

    We stay in the association of Devotees so that we also get inspired to serve to Krishna by chanting His Holy Names.

    All living entities who came in contact with Holy Name and Devotees is the best of all living beings.

    So in this way they are both good.

    One is chanting other one will chant if he is humble and respectful with Devotees.
