Just one Christian group, The Adventists are planning to build 50,000 (Yes FIFTY THOUSAND) Seventhday Adventist Churches in India, in the next 5-10 years.
This information is accurate and got it from a friend who is an elder & a committed Christian, who has donated 90% of his money to the Seventhday Adventist Church, a vegetarian Christian group here in the United States.
Why dont WE set a goal for 50,000 Harinam Sankirtan groups in the next 5-10 years all over India?
Look at the advantages we have, It takes money to build churches. On the contrary it takes NO money to get a group of Sankirtana warriors to go on Sankirtana. On top of that, we will be able to create money for the ISKCon temples by selling books, a natural result of Sankirtana.
If THEY can do it, WE can do it too! (Unless we are unselfish only to the extent, that, we just want to sit and ONLY do Japa/or worship the feet of the Lord so our devotional service can benefit US only)

Do you think it is possible? If you think not, at least give a positive encouragement (if you don't want to say negative although a -ve remark will be taken as feedback and will not discourage us, true Sankirtan Warriors)

Yes it does take a simple hearted person to do Sankirtana. We must make sure that we dont gather any material possessions like Gold, big temples and the rest of the paraphernalia that goes with it. That way it will not attract people who are looking for control of money and power.
Sankirtana group will be simple. Just show up and be a part of Sankirtana. Thats it.
Sorry I did not follow, what you mean by giving up the pragmatist notion of being a manager.
Where do we start. How do we mange the groups. Have a central website where we can all communicate with each other.

It has become so rare that many (even senior) devotees think Sankirtana is performed inside the temple.
These Seventhday Adventists are nicely following their guru, who started their organization about 150 years ago. 150 years later, after their teacher (guru) passed away, they are making plans and building 50,000 churches in just India alone in the next 5-10 years.
You are right we can do it too. The right person empowered by Krishna will make it happen.

Yes Shravan prabhu you are right. But you must understand their psychology. Since they said they will make and maintain 50,000 churches, this is coming in the news. Now many people will talk about them. As soon as there is a trend established, everyone will write about this. More and more people will also join their movement.
So this is propaganda. Prabhu in today's world propaganda is the key to success(materially). Big democracies are running on basis of propaganda. So unless ISKCON understands the mind of people and comes up with dedicated and honest leaders, it will be a challenge. And we do not need to pay much attention to what others are saying(remember the scientology community) so if hare krishna movement appeals to the soul of people in general, there will be no problem, though anyone makes a church or temple, it doesnt affect.
That propaganda also has to be sensational enough that it attracts attention.
How will people respond to 50,000 parties going out on Sankirtana everyday?
People may respond better to 50,000 temples or 50,000 temples with hospitals or schools, orphanages etc.
Many people dont even know that Mahaprabhu is Krishna Himself and
Many devotees dont know that He appeared in the first part of Kali Yuga, as the scriptures say, to start the Sankirtana Movement.
We must create a propaganda based on what people understand with our own agenda (Sankirtana) in mind.
