It automatically liberates you from the cycle of birth and death and enables you to regain your original position in the spiritual sky.The greatest spiritual master in history is of course His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. If you read his books and follow his instructions, you will get a first class start on the pathway of bhakti (devotion), the pathway of surrendering to Lord Krishna. The best way to get fixed in following Srila Prabhupada's teachings is to participate regularly in the activities of your nearest ISKCON center.Once you have begun the path of bhakti, the next step for becoming solidly situated will be for you to take initiation from one of Srila Prabhupada's disciples. If Srila Prabhupada were still physically present on this planet you would of course take your initiation directly from him, but as he is no longer physically present the etiquette is to take initiation from one of his disciples who is physically present on this planet.This initiation can be accepted from any one of Godbrothers who is also initiating disciples.
