It is speculated that the world is going to end in 2013. Is it true? How many years is Kali yuga? and presently, how many years have passed?

Ashwani Prabhu, I dont have better plans than to chant maha mantra everytime which is the best of all rosy plans. :)
Tanmoy Prabhu, I dont want to be relaxed or rather I should I would be willing to relax by chanting maha mantr. No other relaxation for me. :)..
As to the questions regarding the worries - To be frank, i hate to watch news nowadays!it makes me really angry and saddened and that time with whole my mind i try to see Krishna's beautiful face which gets me in control. No one is spared in today's world - ladies, middle aged woman, old woman and even infant girls) :(. It is really heart breaking to see the related news. On the other side, catastrophes like, accidents, nature's fury, murdering, etc.... how many innocent people are dying?
there is a time when i used to wonder where are the respects for woman gone? WHy are people or society not treating them fair? with these incidents, I used to also wonder how many parents will be afraid to welcome their girl child home? i have heard from my mother in law that when a girl child is born in a family, it is treated as MahaLakshmi Devi coming home and we welcome her with all our heart. But look at the situation now. :(....
No one is spared. So many young youth who stand for women's dignity and respect are murdered here. When I see all these, I just pray to Krishna that He should come fast and kill these demons who are doing this.
