The senses are things which must be dealt with and like all things there is a proper way to do itThere are 3 ways to deal with themThe first one is to be controlled by them and let them lead us in a directionwe need to understand that they are like servants to our Jiva and when we let them be our master then they will get confused and lead us too bad ends.when people who are in the nature to serve get placed in the position of power they dont know what to do and they therefore get into troublewh

Let us look at the tree. As the tree grows, it develops its crown: more branches develop, more leaves, and even some birds arrive and nest in the branches. At this point (or even earlier), the roots of the tree should grow deeper and deeper to provide more stability for the growing tree.If that does not happen, there is danger. Due to the weight of the tree and the absence of deep anchoring into the ground, there is the danger of it falling down. A little wind, too much rain, or a

Prayers…by Sutapa das

Though inspired, I personally find it difficult to pray. It usually feels unnatural and artificial; probably a combination of my impersonal character, hard-heartedness, lack of faith, and general life philosophy of “work hard and be practical.” Someone, however, recently offered me an interesting antidote – “pray for other people”

My parents and brother have been extremely supportive to me in this regard. But still it is not totally gone. So that bhakti-yoga—Kṛṣṇa consciousness means bhakti-yoga—by the grace of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu we are distributing. We are distributing not whimsically, but Caitanya Mahāprabhu wanted it.

janma sārthaka kari' kara para-upakāra
(CC Adi 9.41)

This is injunction. This is also injunction of Kṛṣṇa. What Kṛṣṇa said, Caitanya Mahāprabhu said the same thing. The difference is that Kṛṣṇa commanded as the Supreme Pers
