Purnacandra Goswami’s Departure And Coma

On September 15th HH Purnacandra Goswami Maharaja was hospitalized with internal bleeding, and from October 19th he was in coma. On the 4th of November, 22:25 PM Moscow time HH Purnacandra Goswami passed away. It is a great loss for the entire ISKCON community.

National Seva Day

On Sunday 21^st November hundreds of volunteers from the Bhaktivedana Manor community came together for National Seva Day (Service – Good deeds for others). In partnership with Hertsmere Borough Council and Hertsmere Forum of Faiths, religious communities worked together to serve the local community.

Srila Prabhupada went down to preside over an initiation ceremony, in which he awarded first initiation to ten men, and second initiation to nine, all mainly boys from Lokanatha Swami's party. As we were chanting, I looked at the picture of Srila Prabhupada on thewall, painted from a photograph of him from 1966, and I thought of how hecame to the Western world to give us the holy name.
