Lord Jagannath resides in Puri on the shores of the turbulent Bay of Bengal. Once a year he comes out of the temple and devotees vie with one another, trying to pull the cord of his commanding chariot. By the blessings of Srila Prabhupada and all the Vaishnava's ISKCON Visakhapatnam's 3rd Annual Rathayatra festival was very successful with thousands of people attending the program.

I am reading Sri Namamrta, The Nectar of the Holy Name and it really helping my chanting. When I need some inspiration I turn to this book and it is REALLY NECTAR, pure nectar! ISKCON Kolkata celebrated the 40th Rath Yatra festival with much fanfare on 3rd July. Hundreds of thousands of people participated in the festival. Hankering after material happiness is called lust, and lusty activities are sure to meet with frustration in the long run. The body of a snake is very cool, but if a man, wanting to enjoy this coolness, garlands himself with a venomous snake, he will surely be killed by the snake’s venomous bite.
