On 20th March Sunday, I received a call from Achyut Govind Prabhu’s father that he is vomiting incessantly and did not sleep for the whole day. I arranged for his coming to the hospital again and getting the water in his abdomen tapped out, after discussing thoroughly with Dr.Vineeta. Gokul R, a 23-year-old follower of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), has imbibed their philosophy very seriously along with his academic pursuits. Gokul topped the All India Rank (AIR) list of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2011, by scoring 91.33 out of 100.

Forty-seven students from Pune made it to the toppers’ list of GATE 2011, for which more than five lakh students across the country appeared.
