evam yo vetti tattvatah
tyaktva deham punar janma
naiti mam eti so 'rjuna

SYNONYMS

janma--birth; karma--work; ca--also; me--of Mine; divyam--transcendental; evam--like this; yah--anyone who; vetti--knows; tattvatah--in reality; tyaktva--leaving aside; deham--this body; punah--again; janma--birth; na--never; eti--does attain; mam--unto Me; eti--does attain; sah--he; arjuna--O Arjuna.

Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu, He has expanded Himself as gurun. The guru, the spiritual master, he's also Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Saksad-dharitvena samasta-sastrair uktah **. In all the sastras, guru is accepted as Krsna. Saksad-dharitvena. Saksad means directly. Just like you offer your devotion, respects, to guru. So that respect is offered to Krsna. Guru also does not think himself that he is Krsna, but he collects the devotional services of the disciples to offer to Krsna. This is the process.

We are delighted to invite you to our first Transcendental Art seminar, an intensive two-week art seminar that will enable you to get a more complete experience of art and create a painting yourself.


The seminar will be facilitated by Dhriti Devi Dasi and Ramdas Abhiram Dasa, two senior ISKCON artists. All levels welcome.

My Guru is the very life of me.

He is Caitanaya MaharaPrabhu for me, though I am completely unqualified, he took me under his shelter

Krishna consciousness is our original consciousness because every living being is part and parcel of Krishna. Krishna has many expansions. They are called personal expansions and separated expansions. We living entities are His separated expansions. Although we are very intimately connected with Krishna, somehow or other we are now separated because of our contact with material nature. We have practically forgotten that

HH BPS: So for Gaur Purnima, from today we'll start discussing on Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Today's selected verse is from Caitanya-caritamrta, Adi-lila Text 4. This verse is mentioned in Mangalacarana by Srila Krsnadasa Kaviraj Goswami and he has quoted this verse from Vidagdha Madhava by Srila Rupa Goswami. So we will read this verse first and then we'll discuss.

anarpita-carim cirat karunayavatirnah kalau 
samarpayitum unnatojjvala-rasam sva-bhakti-sriyam
harih purata-sundara-dyuti-kadamba-sa
