No less that twenty brahmacharis and devotees from Bhaktivedana Manor ventured to Mauritius for two weeks of preaching, kirtan and association with the local devotees.
Their main host was Nitya Gopal Prabhu, who very kindly allowed them to stay in his empty house and also helped arrange their transport. Mukund from Pure Veg generously took care of their prasadam, making the whole tour much easier for them.

Mauritius formally honored the legacy of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), on Saturday, 8 August 2026, when His Excellency Mr Dharambeer Gokhool, G.C.S.K., President of the Republic of Mauritius, unveiled a Special Day Cover at Hare Krishna Land in Pont Fer, Phoenix.
