The Mayapur Vrindavan Trust (MVT) has officially announced the dates of the 2023 Kirtan Mela festivals, to be held at their ashrams in Rishikesh and Vrindavan. Devotees worldwide are invited to attend. The festival dates are as follows:

MVT Rishikesh – Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th October 2023

MVT Vrindavan – Thursday 9th to Saturday 11th November 2023

Many wonderful Kirtaniyas (musicians) from all around the ISKCON world will be present for these ecstatic Kirtan Mela festivals – chanting, danc

On the 12th of February devotees will arrive for Sravana Utsava & Kirtan Mela, followed by festival inauguration, various festivities, Navadwipa Mandala Parikrama, and the grand celebration of Gaura Purnima on the 7th of March.

In the light of the severe humanitarian crisis that is being brought about by the current war in Ukraine we want to dedicate Kirtan Mela 2022 to pray to our merciful Lords Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Sri Panca Tattwa, and Lord Nrisimhadev for the protection of their devotees affected by this war, for protecting their lives and their Krishna Consciousness, and give them all the hope and support we can. We also want to use this event to render some practical service, to see how you can help the Ukrain

The Covid pandemic has affected ISKCON’s operations around the world, especially in regard to international travel. The New Govardhana devotee community usually has the Sacred Sounds festival in April every year, which devotees from around the world attend. However, the last couple of times a smaller local festival has been organised.

Nevertheless, around 500 devotees registered to come over the Queens Birthday long weekend and everyone was blissfully engaged in chanting the holy name of the Lo

The following article was written by my wife Shefali Jandial in June,2013 which talks about her experience of Krishna Consciousness through Kirtan/Kirtan Mela and an incident which strengthened her faith in Krishna. She recently left her body in an unfortunate accident.
