Festivities abounded in Naperville, Illinois as ISKCON devotees prepared to install the Deities of Sri Sri Radha Syamasundar and Lord Caitanya and to inaugurate a new temple building for Their Lordships. An Ocean In The Midwest

A new ocean appeared in a Chicago suburb, and many came to see its unveiling. That ocean is, of course, an ocean of mercy brought upon ISKCON Naperville by the presence of the new Srila Prabhupada murti. An estimated 600 people visited the small temple room to celebrate this momentous occasion on the appearance of Lord Sri Ramachandra, Rama Navami. ISKCON Temple of Greater Chicago is based in Naperville, a growing suburb of Chicago, Illinois, USA. The temple moved to its current location a few years back and since then, the community has been growing exponentially. Looking at the growth, there is need for a commercial kitchen, community hall along with additional space to conduct different programs for children, youth, devotees and other community members, and thus a new temple construction plan was in motion.
