125th appearance day celebrations of Srila Prabhupada & his Birthplace at Tollygunge.
This is the 125th year when His Divine Grace A. C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada appeared under a Jackfruit tree in Tollygunge, Kolkata. In 2011 we had acquired 4 very small rooms under that exact tree which were made possible due to the contributions of HH Radhanath Swami who immediately sent all the money to shift the people living in those 4 rooms. The whole property is around 4 and a
Some days you are a friend
Some days you are foe
You swing moods up
You swing them low
I can’t always trust
You’re not in one place
You respond well to lust
Big dose or a trace
You lead me to greed
It’s not what I want
You convinced it’s a need
In truth it’s a taunt
When there is anger
Pent up inside
You then do hanker
To push it outside
I don’t know why
You are so cruel
Cunning and sly
And wanting to rule
You’re some kind of clown
Silly and joking
A laugh or a frown
Nabbing and poking
Yet you

The regulative principles of bhakti-yoga (the yoga of devotional service), as defined by the spiritual master and the authorized scriptures, form the standard way for the conditioned soul to come to the purified stage of spiritual existence, and one must first reach that joyful stage of purification before he can serve Krsna in spontaneous love. The Krsna consciousness bhakti schedule i

It was a delight delivering a class, over Zoom to Vancouver, this morning about the pastime of Krishna being charged by all his young friends for eating mridam (dirt). His buddies, including his older brother, Balarama, were building up a case against Him, which would lead to a chastisement from His mother. This conflict does from time to time arise in the spiritual realm. Then, what to speak of the hostilities of this mundane world?

This Sanskrit classic was extensively referenced by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in writing his purports for the Fifth Canto of the Srimad-Bhagavatam.

“O lotus-eyed one, Your sweet voice and charming words, which attract the minds of the intelligent, are bewildering us more and more.” – Gopis to Sri Krishna , Srimad-Bhagavatam 10.31.8
It Might seem naive to wonder what God sounds like, to speculate about the tone of His voice and the language He employs when communicating with those near and dear. Because He is transcendental, we know He is beyond mundane sounds. Most religious people would simply say that when God communicates, He does so in
It was our determination to go somewhere where the wind is your friend and the water motion hits rhythmic notes when it meets the beach. Paramahamsa brought me to the Bluffs, where the cliffs are so impressive and everything about the space is therapeutic.
After a healthy fresh rain, the beach’s sand was just the right content of wetness for making sandcastles, or crocodiles. Our purpose, however, was to chill, strictly in Krishna’s service. At the picnic table of our choice, we sat down to go
The wife of jazz great John Coltrane, a legend in her own right, met Srila Prabhupada and brought the Lord's holy names to the ears of thousands.

In June, of this year, devotees held the region’s first-ever Rathayatra Festival in the little New Brunswick village of Memramcook.

Every day the Deities of Sri Radha Madhava are adorned with various jewelleries and gently swayed on a swing decorated profusely with flowers. The main temple hall is decorate
