An extract from the book Bhajana Rahasya by Bhaktivinoda Thakur :
In the sixteen word Hare Krishna mantra there are eight pairs of names. Corresponding to these eight pairs, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has recited the eight shlokas of the Shikshashtaka.
The first pair of names—Hare Krishna—signifies the subduer of ignorance and the performance of nama-sankirtana with faith. The second pair—Hare Krishna—means Krishna's names are invested with all potencies. One should have attachment for bhajana by taking
Bhagavan means six opulences. Nobody is richer than Bhagavan, nobody is stronger than Bhagavan, nobody is more beautiful than Bhagavan, nobody is wiser than Bhagavan, and nobody is more renouncer than Bhagavan. Before coming to His residence at Nandagrama, standing under a kadamba tree, Kṛṣṇa calls all his cows to that place. Forbidden Lunar Tithis:
Sexual union must also be avoided on days of vrata and fasting, such as ekadasi, and on the parva days (full moon, dark moon, astami and caturdasi tithis, as well as sankranti, when the sun passes into a new zodiac sign) when the body is in weak condition, and the days when the moon passes throught the same naksatra as at ones birth.

I was in Northern Wisconsin fixing my RV for a week and then went to The Twin Cities in Minnesota for a while to distribute some books and see some family members. There is now a good group of devotees in Minnesota so I went to one of their nice programs. They rent a hall once a month and have a big program and invite many people. They also have a program at the University of Minnesota once a week. This is one of the biggest universities in America so it's quite an important place to preach.
