Chaitanya Mahaprabhu

"This account originally appeared in a short work by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura entitled, 'Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu: His Life and Precepts.' (dated 20th August 1896.)" What Do the Gaudiya Vaishnavas Believe?

Gaudiya Vaishnavas are the followers of the mystic avatar Sri Chaitanya (1486-1534). Sri Chaitanya worshiped Radha and Krishna and popularized the practice of kirtan (congregational chanting of the names of God). His followers revere him as an incarnation of Krishna, prophesied in the later chapters of The Srimad Bhagavam, who appeared to teach the path of Bhakti.

Sri Chaitanya taught the belief in one supreme God, the ultimate manifestation being in the form of Krishna, accompanied by Radha, who

At the age of only nineteen, Radhanath Swami left his home in America seeking adventure and spiritual knowledge. After trekking across Europe for months,  Radhanath Swami reached his long hoped for destination: India. Prabhupāda: You can plaster together, up and down, and each and every one of them is separately sevenfold covered. The watery portion is beyond the sevenfold coverings. And each covering is ten times more expansive than the previous covering. The Personality of Godhead creates all such universes by His breathing period, lies above the cluster of the universes.

Srila Sridhara Maharaja Glorifies Srila Prabhupada and ISKCON

Srila Sridhara Mj & Srila Prabhupada Srila Sridhara Maharaja has on numerous occasions resolved problems that arose between Srila Prabhupada and his godbrothers. 32 Ways to Not Chant Japa in 2014

Japa Workshop

From The Japa Workshop by Mahatma das :

1.     To Do List Japa - Meditating on your to do and shopping lists, sometimes adding and deleting items between mantras. This may also include mentally balancing your checkbook or mentally going over which bills you have to pay. Caution: This process can cause you to lament about how many bills you have to pay, and thus changing your prayers from "Oh Lord, please engage me in your service," to "Oh Lord, please add a few more zeroes to the end of my

Thought Of The Day

Prabhupada: Therefore.... Therefore, they're rascals. And for the rascals, the Bhagavad-gita teaching is there. Learn! They are giving the stress on the body, that "The body is finished, everything finished." They do not know beyond the body. But the real knowledge begins, "No, you are beyond this body." That is real knowledge. That is the beginning of knowledge. Any other knowledge except this, that is ignorance. That is not knowledge. They are accepting ignorance as knowledge.

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

When I was walking today, on the Island Mali Losinj, I felt my mind
reach out over the blue sea to an island shimmering in the distance.
When my mind returned, it brought a story with it, a story of
spiritual instruction. Strange are the ways of inspiration.

Here is the story:

When Mohan returned from his journey to Jagannatha Puri, he was a
changed man. Those who had never met him were impressed with his
character, but those

Faith & Science..……….. Nectarean Mellows

Hare Krsna

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

The scientific approach is that I will only accept if there is tangible proof, I will believe it if you can show me. If you cannot show me God, if you cannot put Him before me to see, to touch, to smell, to taste, to experience directly with my senses, how do you expect me to believe it and remain scientific? This is a great fallacy because factually everything in your life that you believe is true, you have no means to
