When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
I met devotees in 1990 via the rock group shelter. I was initiated in 1993, took second initiation in 1995, and was a full-time temple devotee until 2000.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
ISKCON Mira Road. I don't know many devotees here because I have just moved here and do not get to the temple often due to work. But I invite any devotees from Mira Road or Mumbai to contact me for friendship.
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
MA in Communication with university teaching experience in the west. I am interested in Vaisnava education and brahminical training for devotees who do not live in temples. I like to discuss the application of Krsna Conscious philosophy to contemporary social and political issues. I love to cook with Yamuna Devi, Adi Raj, Kurma and Natha Prabhus! I also love mahaprasadam sweets!
What are your expectations from this community?
To meet friendly and intelligent devotees for association and increasing the spiritual content on my life.
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
I would love to host devotees at home and cook for them. I would like to bridge the gap for newcomers to KC by speaking and writing about Krishna Consciousness as it relates to contemporary settings and events.
