Hare Krishna PAMHO AGTSP
I had become overweight like 112 kg. I was going to gym and dieting but nothing happening.
I heard about sleep. Now I sleep at least 6-7 hours till I feel optimal, then I do Bhakti, ie usual 16 rounds and Bhagawatam class. Now I wanted to goto gym first thing in the day, as one of my friend does, however i end up in chanting then Bhagawatam and then gym followed by bath. In gym I try to listen to lectures by Srila Prabhupad or there is an English channel I like: Bhakta Singh.
Now I am slowly reducing like 107 kg now. Crash diet works alongwith exercise. Trying to increase protein. Also have juice if you feel weak.
Is it going good or any suggestions to add to my schedule?

Hare Krishna. It is a good progress. Walking is a big contributor. While you do your 16 rounds of chanting, simultaneously do the walking. That is Japa walking. This will reduce your gym needs.
Thank you Prabhuji, it was said in a lecture that sit and chant is better, however i find it is better chanting while walking.
When we sit and chant we tend to be distracted by phone.
Walking and chanting is good for health, and you feel happy by the morning air.
And yes today I chanted 8 tounds walking i felt no need of gym, so i did some surya namaskars. Better this way.
