Dear Devotees, I am writing to you on behalf of Food for Life Vrindavan. Every year at FFLV we celebrate Srila Prabhupada's Appearance day by hosting a special feast for 1500 children at our schools. The feast includes Rice Pulao, Poori, Sabzi, Choley & Gulab Jamun (Srila Prabhupada’s Favourite). Its 1 cup chopped celery and cabbage
A Tasty snack with semolina
1 bowl semolina
1 cup yoghurt
1 chopped celery and cabbage
1-2 finely chopped green hot pepper
salt to taste.
Mix all the ingredients
add yoghurt accordingly so that its neither too thin nor thick
Take a small amount in hand or spoon
And place it in the hot oil
Deep fry it turning on all sides.
Remove from the flame when done.
Remove the excess oil and garnish these balls with chopped parsley/coriander and serve it to GM with tomato sauce made at home.

1 cup maida
1 cup suji
1 cup malai
1 cup milk
1 cup suger
1 tbsp custurd
1 tsp baking powder
nuts
mix all the ingredients and put the mixture into greesed bowl.
keep this bowl in the pressure cooker. do not close the lid of cooker rather place a plate on it keep gas on sim.
after 1.30 hrs cake is ready
Anise milk with raisins and pistachios
2/3 cup[100g] raisins
2tbs anise seeds
1 3/4 cups[425ml] water
1/4 cup[35g] pistachio nuts
2 1/2 cups[600]ml whole milk
1/2 tsp groundcardamom seeds
4tbs honey or 5tbs sugar
cover the raisins with warm water and soak them for 10 minutes.in a saucepan, boil the anise seeds in the water for 5 min.lower the heat and simmer for 10 min. More.
Biend the pistachio nuts,drained raisins,ground cardamom,and milk in an electric blender and set aside.strain the anise water stir the honey into it.then add it to the mixture/stir well,and chill.
Offer it to lord .Serve each glass of thandai garnished with a spring of mint leaves.
