From Back to Godhead

Why we should surrender to Lord Krishna’s lotus feet.

Despite this fast changing world where promiscuity encouraged by the hedonist approach to life is overtaking almost everywhere, India still preserves its age old veneration towards celibacy. The vast majority of girls and boys still remain celebate till their marriage and even post-marriage lead a regulated life. Of course in cities, this ‘conservative’ species are on the brink of extinction, and even when preserved, generally make the person a butt of

So all of you were enjoying HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj giving nice Gaura Katha. I could see they were all drowning in Gaura Katha mellows, or ocean of Gaura Katha mellows.

I was remembering Lord Krishna, Lord Krishna is known as Rasraja Krishna. Rasaraja Krishna means He is made up of mellows. The ingredients used to create Krishna's body is made up of sweetness. This is Rasaraja Krishna.

And Srimati Radharani is mahabhava svarupini, is made up of Krishna prema. Krishna is made up of sweetn

Sri Sri Radha Krishna Pastimes

When Srimati Radharani first saw Krishna, She suddenly became conscious of all transcendental happiness, and the functions of Her different limbs were stunned. When Lalita, Her constant companion, whispered into Her ear, the holy name of Krishna, Radharani immediately opened Her eyes wide. (Nectar of Devotion, pg 259)

Srimati Radharani"One day, in a joking mood, Krishna informed Radharani, 'My dear Radharani, I am going to give up Your Company.' Upon saying this, He immediately disappeared, and because of this, R

THE LIFE OF SRI CHAITANYA MAHAPRABHU

THE LIFE OF SRI CHAITANYA MAHAPRABHU

The object of this little book is to bring the holy life of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and His precepts to the notice of the educated and religious people. Most of the books treating these subjects have hitherto been printed in the Bengali language. Hence, the life and precepts of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu have scarcely passed beyond the boundaries of Bengal. A book has, therefore, been printed in Sanskrit type for circulation all over India. Our educated brethren of

from a lecture by HH Jayapataka Swami, Los Angeles April 17, 2010

There's the deity at Bankura in Bishnupur established by Srinivas Acharya. He is different than Srivas Thakur. After Jiva Goswami he was the next to protect the sampradaya.

About 300 years after Lord Caitanya there was one atheistic so called pandit. He was called Bhaskara Pandit.

At that time the Moghul ruler was a bit weaker. He amassed an army and he was attacking different
