Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.
I would like to share some of the very powerful realizations that our Guru Maharaj H H Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj shared in one of his lectures in Rajkot.
1. If we want to be peaceful in spiritual life we must be very expert in material life.
2. Computer is a curse in the age of Kali. In the name of yukta vairaagya we misuse computers. When we chat in computers, we start with Krishna conscious topics, but gradually glide down to other topics. So we should be cautious while using them.
3. We should love our work. Those who work sincerely, they have safe employment. Somebody will recognize our sincerity.
4. Everybody has to die and also die alone. When we came to this world, we came alone and when we leave this world also we leave alone (paraloka maarge dharmaanugo gacchati jiva ekah). From conception to death, Krishna is the only one accompanying us.
5. We depend on all other living entities except Krishna. That is our greatest immaturity.
6. If you want to be self-sufficient, 16 rounds of chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra must be there.
7. Take negative circumstances also in a positive way. That is the only way we can be peaceful.
8. If we smell cow dung we will not have breathing diseases at all.
9. Japa, kirtan etc are not part of the body and mind. They are heart to heart and we can reach Krishna through these transcendental processes.
10. Where Krishna is there auspiciousness is always there.
11. If phone is on the bed we cannot sleep soundly.
12. The main goal of river is to reach the ocean. In that process the river does not stop anywhere. Same way we should also progress in our devotional service.
