1. When will Vrndavana's queen Radha, Her eyes restless with love and Her limbs like waves in the flooding ocean of nectar, place Her merciful glance upon me?

2. O queen of Vrndavana, I take shelter of your lotus feet, which are flooded with nectar, which are cool and pleasing, and which, placed over Lord Krsna's heart, extinguish the blazing fire of desire that torments Him.

Thought Of The Day

Prabhupada: That's all right. If you believe Krsna is the Supreme Lord, if that is your version, then you have to see who are much addicted to Krsna directly. For argument's sake. That these people are twenty-four hours chanting Krsna, and another person who has no, not a single word Krsna, how he can become devotee of Krsna? How he can become representative of Krsna, who does not utter even the name of Krsna? If Krsna is authority accepted, therefore who are directly addicted to Krsna, they are

Srila Prabhupada Vision

Srila Prabhupada Says – [Regarding how material life is pleasing one’s senses and spiritual life means pleasing Krishna]

Bob: Let me ask you about something else; then maybe I'll come back to this. I find that I think of myself too much, and this way I can't think of God so much. I think of myself in too many places. How can I forget about myself so I can concentrate on other, more important things?

Srila Prabhupada: As they [the devotees] have done.

Bob: [Laughs.] You are saying to me that

Why do we see some priests and monks have a shaved head with a tuft of hair in the back? First of all, this tuft of hair is called a shikha. When long enough, it tied in a knot at the crown-point (right above the suture) on the central top of the head. This point is given distinctive importance in the science of yoga and spirituality as the point of contact with the brain-centre of intellectual and emotional sensitivity. It also indicates the body as a temple.

The Shikha symbolizes the presen

Lord Nityananda

(Caitanya-Caritamrta Adi-Lila 1.2) It is said that the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda are more cooling than millions of moons and the shadow of those lotus feet can cool down the entire universe. So, this idea that the universe needs to be cooled down, we also find in the Srimad Bhagavatam when Prahlad Maharaja says in the fifth canto:svasty astu visvasya khalah prasidatam, (Srimad Bhagavatam 5.18.9).

He was praying that there may be auspiciousness in the entire universe and that all the envi

Thought Of The Day

Prabhupada: Yes, that is called death. You separate from this body; you accept another body. This period is called death. (German) So the body which you occupied previously, that is false now. Now the body which you have occupied now, that is important now. So you are giving stress on the body which I am changing after few years. That is the problem, misunderstanding.
