By Nidhi Chaudhari,
From September 17 to 23, 2026, devotees worldwide will come together for World Holy Name Festival 2026, a global celebration dedicated to chanting, hearing, and sharing the Holy Name.
Organized by the ISKCON Kirtan Ministry, the festival is an invitation to temples, communities, youth groups, congregations, kirtaniyas and individual devotees to come together in the spirit of sankirtana and offer their service to the mission of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Srila Prabhupada.Although the official festival dates begin on 17 September, preparations have already started in many places. Temples are planning Harinamas and kirtans, devotees are organizing local programs, communities are involving families and youth, and teams are preparing different forms of outreach.
The mood this year is simple: wherever we are, and whatever service we can do, let us create more opportunities for people to hear and chant the Hare Krishna Maha-mantra.
