Over one weekend, the ISKCON London Sankirtan team had the opportunity to attend the World Yoga Festival, bringing Srila Prabhupada’s books to a large gathering of people interested in yoga, meditation, spirituality and personal development.
For us, it was a wonderful reminder of how much potential there is for book distribution outside traditional religious settings. Over the course of the weekend, more than 20 Srimad Bhagavatam sets were distributed, along with a large number of Bhagavad-gitas, smaller books and other books by Srila Prabhupada.
The response was encouraging. Many people were already searching for deeper answers and were genuinely interested in taking the books home.
