It’s good to be back on television again. Not since 2017, the summer, when I did my U.S. Walk did, I have had much opportunity to get on the TV camera. This morning it was Global TV that interviewed Savyasachin and me with host Paul Brothers, as we talked about the weekend Chariot Fest.

One of our local community members, Hiren, led us on a cool walk near his home on a trail along the Chain of Lakes. The sun was upon us, the water to our side, trees every which way, and pedestrians sharing the path. It made for a good morning experience.

Back at Hiren’s home, we enjoyed brunch and, as anyone who knows me knows, I will insist on using or cooking what edibles we have in abundance. That, of course, is the delicious fiddlehead produce. Sorry to bring up the name of this superfood

The good news is that one of our newly-formed communities on the east coast, Halifax, is hosting their first Ratha Yatra this summer. Ratha Yatra is that exciting festival featuring Krishna Himself in beauty black with ecstatic eyes and oceanic smile. The event actually takes the shape of a parade of sorts. Sanjay is from Nepal but he has the look of an indigenous person from North America. It is simply an observation. He has a humble disposition and he was willing to walk with me for a short stretch in the Timberlea district where I’m staying, at the residence of Angiras and Anchal.
