Today we celebrate the Appearance of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura, the son of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, and Spiritual Master of our Srila Prabhupada. We will honor it with a half day fast, rememberances and readings. A new sannyasi for Iskcon.
Indradyumna Swami: Today the GBC have given their blessings for my beloved disciple, Uttama Sloka dasa, to enter the renounced order of life. On March 12, the appearance day of Srila Purusottama das Thakur, I will perform Uttama sloka’s sannyasa ceremony in Sridham Mayapura. All those who can attend that most auspicious function are welcome.

Jayapataka Swami Official Health Update 26/02/16 (8:50 Mayapur time)
Jayapataka Swami is now out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the specialist hospital in Delhi. He was transferred to a private room within the same hospital and is responding quite well to the treatment. The doctors are reporting his progress as promising.
