Avatar Art hopes to attract people to Krishna consciousness through its windows to the spiritual world
In the past, ISKCON devotees have been treated to stunning coffee table art books like the Krishna Art Book and the Ramayana Art Book.
Now, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT) has released an art book for the general public, written to provide people with a cultural experience and to attract them to take a closer look at Krishna consciousness through its “windows to the spiritual world.”

Kurma das: Bhakti V. Madhava Swami wrote me yesterday, concerned that kalonji seeds, also known as onion seeds, were inappropriate for those, like himself, who do not partake of onions and garlic. He is not alone in his confusion in terminology.
I replied:
Kalonji seeds (Nigella sativa) (pictured below) are not seeds of the onion plant. There is no connection. It is a colloquial term only, because they look like onion seeds.
They are also sometimes called black cumin, but this is also a mistake

Although Sri Sri Radha and Krishna separate and unite eternally in pastimes, Sri Radha, as the Shakti energy of Krishna, follows Krishna wherever He goes, like a shadow. Her following of Krishna takes Her to the impersonal Brahman and Krishna’s Time aspect as well.
