If God exists - Why so much pain and suffering?
A man went to a barber shop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said, "I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that," asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would th

I have just returned today from Sri Nabadwipa Dham Parikrama and i want to share this unique experience with you.
We decided to visit Ek-Chakra village (the birth place of Nityananda Prabhu, who is none other than Sri Balarama in Krsna's pasttimes).
We started doing sankirtan there in the praise of Lord Nityananda and Gauranga:
Nitai Nitai Nitai Nitai Nitai Nitai Nitai He !
Nitai Gauranga Jai Nitai Gauranga !

Question to Radhanath Swami: I am very much interested in Bhakti Yoga. But how do I cultivate enthusiasm and determination to remain steady on this path?
Radhanath Swami: How do you cultivate a plant? You have to protect it and you have to water it. If you're growing a flower in your garden you must protect it from being ripped out, from being trampled on, from being choked by weeds, and you also have to put water on it. So that is how enthusiasm and determination are also developed. If you engag

Answer: Krishna's Unlimited Causeless Mercy |

It is simply a matter of understanding Lord Sri Krishna |
My humble prayers to my Lord Naraimhadeva: -
O’ Nåsiàhadeva! Your form is very terrible with Your long and sharp teeth. You are very fearful to see with strong large nails and garlanded by flames. Destroy, destroy my obstacles! Kick out, kick out my fear! Scatter, scatter my enemies! Destroy, destroy my karma! Flash, flash! Kill, kill! Cut, cut! Ever fulfill, ever fulfill all my desires to serve You. Safeguard, safeguard me and all around me.
Although I was very wealthy, I am blind and without d
Question: Why the Supreme Personality? |
||||
Please advise why you refer to Lord Krishna as the “Supreme Personality” of Godhead. We could just say Lord Krishna or the Supreme Lord Krishna. So why is it that many ISKCON books and devotees refer to Krishna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. |
||||
Answer: He's Not the Impersonal Oneness |
||||
This is to make it very clear that God is a person. He's not the impersonal oneness as the Mayavadis claim. |

Letter to Yamuna
"We are not impersonalists, under the circumstances we have got varieties of perception in the matter of discharging devotional service. In Rupa Goswami's ``Siksamrta'' it is stated that advanced life in Krsna Consciousness means one should be always very much anxious to calculate whether every moment of his life has not been utilized in devotional service. This is called feeling of being afraid for misusing time.
One should be very careful to est
Instead of complaining about what’s wrong we should take positive, solution-oriented steps (however small) toward improving a situation. It means being more a part of the solution rather than a reminder or reinforcement of the problem.
While we’re working, it’s easy to fall into the trap of spending our time and energy taking note and complaining about the way things are, the economy, negative people, greed, lack of compassion, bureaucracy, and so
